Can I buy my house, if I’m a council tenant?

How long does the building work usually last?

Normally between 10 to 12 weeks depending on the weather and the type of property.

Can I still live in the property whilst it is being repaired?

Yes all services such as gas and electric are not affected.

Is the house fully mortgageable once the repairs are carried out?

Yes, the repair is carried out to a PRC Specialist Licence and is fully mortgageable.

Will I be able to get a mortgage?
